Not Alone
Over the past week and a half my family has gone through some things that we never thought that we would have to face. The good news for my family has been that through this we have realized that we truly never have to go through anything alone. I have seen both my immediate family and extended family come together in ways that I never knew that we could. As a friend said " The Blair family does EVERYTHING together", and during this time we have proven this statement to be true. There have been times when we have cried and there have been times when we have laughed, but we have done it together. For me this has been a wonderful comfort knowing that through thick and thin my family is going to stay together. I have never felt so blessed to be apart of my family
We also never have to go through anything alone because my family has some wonderful friends. We have people all around us who have been willing to do physical things, these people are referred to as the "angels", others have constantly been lifting us up in prayer, and sending constant encouraging text messages. These people have made it very clear that they love us and that they are here for us. There is a saying that "friends are the family that you choose". I don't think that we could have chosen a better family.
And last but certainly not least we have not had to go through this alone because we have our Lord and Savior walking through this day by day and moment by moment with us. I have cried out to Him many a night and I have asked "why", who knows how many times. Every time I think that I have had enough and that I can't take anymore I feel His loving arms wrap around me. He assures me that while I may not understand the current situation He has it under control and has a wonderful plan.
I know that many of you do not know the specifics of our current family situation and that is okay. Just be in prayer for us and don't worry, everyone is ok.
