Vacation!!
Have you ever been on vacation with eleven people? Well, if you haven't let me just tell you it is quite the experience. Everyone should try it at least once!! This was quite the vacation, we weren't on one of those vacations where we were going to relax and lay by the pool. We had things to do and places to go!! Let me just give you a glimpse inside our vacation.
Day 1- Saturday
We left on Friday afternoon and drove to Valdosta, which dad thought was halfway, but in reality it was way over halfway. So when we left the hotel on Saturday we only had three more hours to drive. We got to Orlando one so but we weren't allowed in our house until four. So what do you do, go to Cracker Barrel of course. I mean we don't have those here at home. haha
Once we got to the house we walked around and admired where we would be for the week. Really the only place that I cared about was my room and to pool. We did a little swimming and them we headed out to go and play a round of Putt Putt golf!!

We are serious about our Putt Putt
Day Two- Sunday
On Sunday we decide that Epcot sounded like a good idea. We spent the entire day at Epcot and it was fabulous. We rode all the rides we wanted, went from country to country, and watched an amazing firework show. Let me just tell you my feet hurt sooooooooooo bad afterward, but we had a lot of fun!!
Waiting in line for our first ride!
Julee and me at the entrance to Epcot
Julee in France in front of the Eiffel Tower
Fireworks!!
Day Three- Monday
Seaworld here we come!! I know Bob Barker is telling everyone not to go to Seaworld, but I disagree! I thought that it was fabulous. I enjoyed seeing all of the sea life and being able to interact with them. We went to watch the whale show and it was amazing!! If you ever go it is an absolute MUST see!!
Petting sting rays
Whale show!!!
Manatees are my new favorite animal!
Day Four- Tuesday
Shopping Day!!!! Enough said!! This was also the first day to have all eleven of us there. Chris, Robin, Tyler, and Kristen arrived on Tuesday morning after driving all night. Chris was so excited to begin his vacation by shopping, NOT!!
Love my family
We were so excited!!
Day Five- Wednesday
This was the big day........MAGIC KINGDOM!!! Disney with eleven people is very interesting, but so much fun!!
Cinderella's Castle
Day Six- Thursday
This was our one relaxing day. We slept in as late as we wanted and just stayed around the house. Later in the day we made the drive to the beach and walked around for awhile. This was a MUCH needed day.
Day Seven- Friday
This was the other big day, Universal Studios, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Let me just tell you they have done a great job with that place. You really feel like you are stepping into the movie when you enter. The main ride in Harry Potter is also amazing. We had to wait in line for an hour, but it was worth it. Plus, it didn't feel that long because once you got into Hogwarts, the castle was decorated with talking pictures, and other interactive attractions from the movie. Oh and a butterbeer is a MUST!
Getting on the train to Hogwarts
Hogwarts
The Sorting Hat
All in all it was a great vacation. I think that we all left more tired than when we got there, but we had a great time. I enjoy being able to spend time with my family and I love the family that the Lord has blessed me with, both immediate and extended. I pray that we are able to continue to do things like this as Thomas and me get older. I pray that one day we will be taking our kids on vacations with each other and that they will have the special bond that I have with my cousins.
